As part of our monthly how-to-get-more-affordable-housing in Ottawa sessions, Cahdco, the Alliance to End Homelessness, and the Ottawa Community Land Trust are pleased to welcome Councillors David Hill and Laine Johnson to January’s Session titled “After the City Budget: What’s Next?”
We’ll be engaging Councillors on the details of the affordable housing budget, the capital plan moving forward, and how we can leverage our resources most effectively for affordable housing in the sector. While the next budget is almost a year away, learning how the budget process works, and how we can advocate early for important elements to be included next year are key.
